List of Chinese App Ban in India

Now, Due to some security issues, the Indian Government has banned 59 Chinese apps in India on 18th June 2020. These are the following 59 apps that are banned in India.

List of Chinese Ban Apps In India:

  1. TikTok: TikTok is a comedy and video distribution app where users have to create an account and upload their short videos on their profile and distribute them over the internet. It has been used more millions of people in India. Now since the Indian Government finds that the user data were not safe and the company has been sharing personal data with others or the Chinese Government.
  2. Shareit: This app used to share the files from one device to another device through the internet or wireless network.
  3. Kwai: It is a social video sharing app now it got a ban in India.
  4. UC Browser: It is one more popular browser for Mobile devices. It has a news feed along with so many ads and additional features like weather etc.
  5. Baidu App: It is used to download PC games for your system. It has been owned by a Chinese company now.
  6. Shein: It is an online eCommerce website and app where you will get cheaper clothes and goods. It is most famous for women’s and girls’ goods and clothing.
  7. Clash of King: It is a mobile game. It has been getting the most famous in the last few years. It is an action video game where you can play on mobile as well as desktop console.
  8. DU Battery Saver:
  9. Helo: It is just like TikTok, It is also just like a video sharing app, Users can register and they start uploading their content and another helo user can see that video and share their feedbacks.
  10. Likee: It was a short video creator and sharing platform where any user can signup with their personal details like email, phone number, name, etc and start creating a video and uploading to that platform with out any cost as well as then can share their video on social media too.
  11. YouCam makeup: This app was used to modify your selfies. It has a number of variations to edit images that provide users to play with their images and make changes in minutes.
  12. Mi Community: It is basically a community where MI users can sign up and discuss the MI things and goods.
  13. CM Browser: It is a web-based browser. This is mainly based on Chromium and supports both the WebKit and Trident browser engines.
  14. Virus Cleaner: This application used to remove unwanted data and/or viruses from your device, But they ask for all your file access and your personal data details access while using it.
